The letter was the opt-out letter that most residents will receive. There will be other letters sent out if you have solar or another supplier. Village Hall 309-385-4765       Please click below, Notice to Taxpayers Within the Village of Princeville Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Districts   Princeville Tax Increment Financing     Residential Rehabilitation Programs   On May 1st, applications for both the TIF I and TIF IV Residential Rehabilitation Programs will be available at Village Hall. Qualified projects include exterior repairs and renovations to private residential properties. For a list of qualifying repairs, click here.   Residents that are approved can receive a reimbursement grant which is 75% of the TIF eligible project costs incurred by the applicant, not to exceed $2,500.00.   The Village can only accept one program application per property during the Village's fiscal year. This program is first come, first serve basis and subject to the availability of funds. Funds are allocated annually by the Princeville Village Board.   Click here for more information or call Village Hall, 309-385-4765.   The 2025 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report is available on the Village website, www.princeville.org   Village of Princeville Water Customers have an option to receive alerts by text.   To sign up is a two-step process: 1. Call Village Hall, (309)385-4765 to verify the contact information on your account is up to date. 2. Text the word START to (309)249-9230.   Signing up for these alerts will allow you to receive notifications such as: boil orders, water meters detecting constant flow/leaks, hydrant flushing, upcoming sewer project work updates, road work/closures within the village limits, past due accounts/water shut off notices. Build permits are also required to construct and/or put up a swimming pool over 2ft. in depth.   2026 ATV, UTV, Golf Cart Permit Stickers are now available. Yearly permit stickers are $25.00. Good from Jan. 1st thru Dec. 31st. If it is a new sticker application, then you must fill out the permit application and bring your ATV, UTV or Golf Cart to the Village Hall for inspection. The ordinance and the list of items required for permit are listed on the Village website, https://princeville.org/golf-cart-atv-utv-permits/     2026 Pet Tags  $2.00 per cat/dog Having a tag is required by Village ordinance, but also serves as a safeguard to assist the Village in contacting you if your pet gets out and is picked up. If you have an issue to report, need to report stray animals, call 309-672-2440.         Village of Princeville Recycling 2026 Princeville Recycling Calendar   To sign up for curbside recycling pick up, contact Eagle Enterprises Recycling at (309) 932-2936 or toll free (888) 932-2936.   Eagle Enterprises Recycling will pick up, CEDs once a month from resident's homes. CEDs (Covered Electronic Devices) which are the 17 items specifically banned from the landfill. CEDs: TVs, computer monitors, computers (including desktops, laptops, and tablets), printers, fax machines, VCRs, DVD players, DVD recorders, video game consoles, digital converter boxes, cable receivers, satellite receivers, keyboards, computer mice, small scale servers, scanners and portable digital music players (that contain memory).   Residents must call Eagle Enterprises Recycling, 888-932-2936, by noon the day prior to the collection, to request pick up for that month.     Looking for Daycare?   Princeville Daycare (DCFS Licensed)  909 N. Distribution Days: 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month from 5-6pm.       Akron-Princeville Ambulance   Have you ever thought about volunteering for your community?  Do you work or live in Princeville? Akron-Princeville Ambulance is taking applications for daytime and nighttime volunteer drivers.
