The Princeville Township Cemetery is
hiring for an assistant to the sexton/sales on an as needed
basis. Training is paid and salary will be paid twice a
year. If you are interested in helping your community
supporting the cemetery sexton when needed,

It is a 10 hour class. You have to be there both
nights. Hot sandwiches, chips and drinks are served.
Parents are welcome to take the class along with their child. We
would like for the kids to be 10 years old by December 31, 2022.

Landscape Waste Pick-Ups have resumed.
Public Works will pick up landscape
waste on
Tuesdays, March 22 thru November 1,
2022.

2022 ATV, UTV, Golf Cart Permit
Stickers are in, $25.00:
If it is a new sticker application, then
you must fill out the
permit application and bring
your ATV, UTV or Golf Cart to the
Village Hall for inspection.

2022 Pet Tags are in, $2.00: $2.00 per cat/dog,
As of January 1, the Village will be on
an Impound Only contract
with Peoria County Animal Protective
Services.
Loose animals will be picked up by
Public Works
employees and taken to the Peoria Co.
Animal Shelter.
Having a tag is required by ordinance,
but this will now be a
safeguard also to assist the Village
in contacting you if your pet gets out
and is picked up.

recently informing them, the Village of Princeville has selected
Constellation NewEnergy as the preferred supplier for its Municipal
Aggregation Electricity Program.

Board Meeting Agenda
There will be a joint meeting of the Lillie M. Evans
Library District Board of Trustees, the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Princeville, and the Board of Education of Princeville
Community Unit School District #326 on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at
7:00pm, at the Lillie M. Evans Library in the large meeting room. The
purpose of the joint meeting is the communication of plans for our
community. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Reminders:
*GARBAGE pick up is
every Monday.
1 brown garbage tote
is provided to each resident.
*The driver will
only pick up and empty the tote.
They do not get out
of their trucks to pick up additional bags
or garbage outside
the tote.
*If you need a tote,
have a broken tote, need to swap for a larger or smaller size tote,
contact Village Hall.
*If you are wanting
ADDITIONAL totes, you must contact GFL Environmental (309-274-4589)
directly. There is a deposit fee, and a
fee per additional
tote, per month. That additional tote fee is
handled by GFL
Environmental directly.
*Bulky items such as
furniture, mattresses, etc. will have a fee
accessed for the
pick up. To set this up, residents must call
ahead to GFL
Environmental at 309-274-4589.

**APA is looking for EMT Basic to work 8
or 12 hour shifts. Days and nights available. We have a place to stay
if you are from out of town. Must be willing to test into UnityPoint
EMS system.
