Please visit the village website for more details or call the Village Hall, 309-385-4765.         Garbage & Recycling Updates & Reminders:     *GARBAGE pick up is every Monday. 1 brown garbage tote is provided to each resident.   *If you need a tote, have a broken tote, need to swap for a larger or smaller size tote, contact Village Hall.   *(NEW) if you are wanting ADDITIONAL totes, you must contact AREA Disposal (309-274-4589) directly. There is a $22.00 deposit, and it is $7.50 per additional tote, per month. That additional tote fee is handled by AREA Disposal directly.   *Bulky items such as furniture, mattresses, etc. will have a fee accessed for the pick up. Akron-Princeville Ambulance is taking applications for daytime and nighttime volunteer drivers. Applicants must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.      Akron-Princeville Fire Department  Have you ever thought about being a volunteer firefighter?  Do you work or live in Princeville?   Please go to apfd.com or contact an APFD member for an application.
