In an effort to promote holiday cheer, the Village of Princeville, would like to give the community an opportunity to sponsor and decorate a Christmas Tree

in Stevens Square Park. Residents, businesses,

groups and clubs are invited to sponsor a tree that

will bear their name or sponsor a tree in memory

of a loved one.

In conjunction with the Christmas tree display,

the Princeville Civic Association will host a

Tree Lighting and Holiday Stroll on

Sunday, November 28 from 4:30pm-7pm.

A brief ceremony and lighting of the park

will be held that evening in Stevens Square.

Trees will be placed in the park by Village of Princeville

Public Works beginning the week of November 15.

The Village Hall will contact the tree sponsors, once

their tree is up and their signage is ready for pick up.

*Decoration can include lights.

*If using lights, you will need to provide your own 25ft. extension cord.

*We ask that no tinsel (icicles) or glass ornaments be used.

*Trees are out in the elements, subject to the weather and wildlife, select your decorations with care.

*Make sure your decorations are securely on the tree

*All decorations, lights and extension cords are up to the sponsor.

The last night lights will be on, in the park, Wed., Jan. 5, 2022.

The Princeville Civic Association (PCA) along with the Village of Princeville is hosting the 2nd Annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Stroll on Sunday, November 28th from 430-7pm. We hope your organization or business will consider participating.

Residents located in the downtown area and adjacent to Stevens Square are also welcome to participate.

This event will be in addition to the Small Business Saturday event planned for Saturday, November 27th.

The Tree Lighting and Holiday Stroll will take place in Stevens Square and in the downtown area. It will start off with a brief ceremony and tree lighting starting after 430pm. Once the trees are lit, participants will be encouraged to stroll through the lights

in the square and in the downtown area. If you are planning on decorating the outside of your business, organization or home, we'd like to encourage you to participate in the Holiday Stroll.

There will be photo stops, an opportunity to visit with Santa, and more!

Princeville High School students will be displaying gingerbread houses at the Library or local businesses. The Girl Scouts will be caroling and the Boy Scouts will be offering hot chocolate. The PCA is hosting a holiday scavenger hunt to encourage participation during the stroll. Businesses are welcome to be open during this event but it's not necessary to participate.
