Monday Closed  Village of Princeville Water Bills Notice NOTICE:   Village of Princeville January water bills have been estimated.  The estimated bills are due to computer issues at Village Hall and a meter reader not fixed in time for billing.  If you have any questions regarding your water bills, call Village Hall, 385-4765.  Notice to Village Residents The Village was recently notified:  Eagle Enterprises Recycling will no longer accept plastic bags.   This is particularly to discontinue the bag of bags-or loose bags that have nothing in them.   Residents may still put other recyclables in bags, then put them in their totes.  These generally are soiled or dirty so they were not able to be recycled. *Stores such as Walmart, HyVee and others may accept plastic grocery bags for recycling.   Plastic bag recycle containers can usually be seen inside the doorways into the store.   www.eerecycling.com 2018 Golf Cart/UTV Stickers  2018 Golf Cart/UTV stickers  are available at Village Hall.   2018 stickers expire 12/31/2018.  Stickers are $25.   For more information visit the village website, princeville.org/ordinances REMINDER: Golf Cart/UTVs are not allowed on state highways even if the highway is located within the village limits.   They are only allowed on the village streets.    Community Events Red Cross Blood Drive  Tuesday, February 20 1pm-6pm at St. Mary's Church Hall  Call Diane Ingle, 385-2342 to schedule an appointment.  See flyer below.  PHS All School Talent Show Friday, February 23 7pm at PJHS See flyer below for details. 3rd Annual PRIDE Trivia Night Saturday, February 24 7pm at the Princeville Heritage Museum See flyer below for details and registration form. Akron-Princeville Ambulance is in need of drivers! Have you ever thought about volunteering for your community?  Do you work or live in Princeville? Akron-Princeville Ambulance is taking applications for daytime  and nighttime volunteer drivers.  Applicants must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.   EMT license not required.  Training will be provided.   If you are interested, please call (309)256-5765 for an application and further information.  Thank you in advance!
