Troutman's Trek Texas

March 4, 2017
Friends of Troutman's Trek,
Dean called yesterday to say that his knees and hips were in a lot of pain. Out of concern that continuing to walk would do more harm than good, Dean has decided to come home early. His team agrees, and we're excited to have him back in a few days.
But we are certainly not done.
Dean's team of communications students are just like Dean -- they don't quit, even when the going gets tough; they just find a new way. Together, that's exactly what we're going to do.
Dean's message is the same it's always been: "You've just got to do something -- anything -- to help these kids" at St. Jude. So be ready for a live update from us next week about our new plan. And if you are a teacher or administrator or student anywhere in the world, or if you know anyone in any of these positions, share this message. We're going to be calling on every school and every community in the US and beyond to partner with us to help Dean reach $200,000 (or more) for St. Jude, and we're thrilled Dean will get to be by our side when hit and surpass the goal mark.
Thank you for continuing to support Dean and all of us behind him. Let's make today our biggest fundraising day yet to show Dean we're going to work harder now than ever to make his dream come true.
