The calendar includes local events and happenings.  If your group, church or organization would like to have an event placed on the calendar, please email, princevillewc@frontier.com or call Julie at 385-1916.   Village of Princeville  Job Opening  The Village of Princeville is accepting applications for a  Public Works Department Employee.   This is a part-time position that may turn into a full-time position.   An application is available at the Village Hall at 206 N. Walnut Ave.   The successful candidate must possess a strong work ethic  and be self motivated.   Applications will be accepted  until January 24 for this position.    Any questions contact Chad Gardner,  Superintendent of Public Works at 309-385-4765.  Village of Princeville Winter Parking Ban Reminder Village of Princeville Winter Parking Ban:  The Village of Princeville would like to remind residents to move vehicles off of the street if two or more inches of snow are forecast. It shall be unlawful to allow any vehicle or trailer to remain on any street or alley in the village in such a manner as to interfere with snow removal operations, when the accumulation is forecasted to be two or more inches in depth. Any car parked on the streets will be towed at the owner's expense.  If you need a place to park a car, you can park in the empty lot, at the corner of Spring St. & Santa Fe Ave. (The empty lot that is west across from Country Feed and Supplies) If you do park a car in that lot, please inform the Village Hall  by calling 385-4765. 2017 Golf Cart Stickers 2017 Golf Cart Stickers 2017   Golf Cart/UTV stickers are now available at Village Hall.   2017 stickers expire on December 31, 2017   Stickers are $25 to those  that have one in 2016 and $30 for any new ones.   After December 31, 2016 the stickers will be $25 for everyone.  For more information visit the village website, princeville.org/ordinances Notice:  2017 Princeville Town Wide Garage Sales  Mark your Calendar! 2017 Princeville Town Wide Garage Sales Saturday, May 6, 2017 Community Events Princess Party  Saturday, January 21 at 1pm A fundraiser for the Princeville Heritage Museum See the flyer below for details!  Coming in February: Tea with Mrs. Lincoln Saturday, February 18 at 1pm A fundraiser for the Princeville Heritage Museum See flyer below. Akron-Princeville Ambulance is in need of drivers! Have you ever thought about volunteering for your community?  Do you work or live in Princeville? Akron-Princeville Ambulance is taking applications for daytime  and nighttime volunteer drivers.  Applicants must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.   EMT license not required.  Training will be provided.   If you are interested, please call (309)256-5765 for an application and further information.  Thank you in advance! We can not provide top notch service without people to respond. Although we have an immediate need for daytime volunteers, all applications will be considered.
