Playground Equipment
at Cutters
Grove Park
|
The
Village of Princeville is replacing all the playground equipment at
Cutters Grove Park. They are in need of volunteers to help
assemble and erect all the fun stations.
Work
days will be on Friday, August 5th and Saturday August 6th.
Starting at 8am each day, until 3 or 4pm..... could be less
hours. Anyone with construction know how are encouraged to help
out. We are looking for at least 6 teams of 10 people each.
The
team leads would be those that have contractor experience...more info
will be posted as the time draws near.

Troutman
Park Work Day/Installing Dugout Roofs

There will be a
work day at
Troutman Park
Saturday, August
13th
Starting at 7:30am
(Princeville's
Community Awareness Day will be going on from 11-2 the same day at the
park)
Troutman Park is
asking for volunteers. They are going to be installing roofs on the
dugouts. If you can run a saw, drive a nail, or hand supplies to the
workers, you are needed.
There is also a
list of supplies it will take to complete the project, the list is at
EB Buildings & Lumber Co. If you wish to donate items needed,
EB Buildings & Lumber Co. will mark the items donated off the list.
Together, the park
will be one step closer to completion.

We will also be having the HUNTER SAFETY class
at St. Mary of the Woods in Princeville on July 28th and
29th.
This is a 10 hour class. It goes from 5:00pm-10:00pm
both nights.
You must be there both nights.
We will be serving hot sandwiches, chips, drinks, etc.
Parents are welcome to take the class along with their
child.
We would like kids to be 10 years old by December 31,
2016.
THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THE CLASS.

There will be a fall trap shoot at Gilles Farm at a later
date, along with a
fall Youth Pheasant Hunt. That's to be held the
Saturday and Sunday
after Thanksgiving Day.

Ambulance is taking applications for daytime
and nighttime volunteer drivers.
Applicants must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver's
license with a clean driving record.
EMT
license not required. Training will be provided.

turn that thought of volunteering into a reality. The Akron-Princeville
Fire Dept is accepting applications for volunteers. We can not provide
top notch service without people to respond. Although we have an
immediate need for daytime volunteers, all applications will be
