Princeville Community Calendar  06/14/2016 Become a Fan of the Village of Princeville on Facebook   Submit your meeting or event information               The Village of Princeville has a website, princeville.org   It includes Village Board agendas, postings of Village Board Committee meetings, and a community calendar.  The calendar includes local events and happenings.  If your group, church or organization would like to have an event placed on the calendar, please email, princevillewc@frontier.com or call Julie at 385-1916.   Princeville Aquatic Center  620 N Princeville Ave Phone:  309-385-4740 Open Daily from Noon-6pm (Weather Permitting) Passes are available for purchase at Village Hall.   Individual Season Pass Resident, $150 ~ Non Resident, $200 Family Season Pass  (family of no more than four,  additional $20 per family member over four members)  Resident, $225 ~ Non Resident, $275 Multi Visit Pass (good for 20 visits and does not expire) Resident, $65 ~ Non Resident, $85  The Aquatic Center is available for pool parties.   Call, 385-4740 for more information and to reserve a date.  Swim Lessons Start June 13 (reg. deadline June 10) Age 3 and older  Morning (MWF) and evening (MW) swim lessons are available.   Session 1 is from June 13 to July 1.  Session 2 is from July 11 to July 29. Benefit for the family of  Nollan "Joe" Harwood.   The Harwood Brother's Band  will be playing on  Saturday, June 18, 2016 at  Expo Gardens Opera House  from 7-11pm.  Doors open at 5pm. Please join us for a fun and music filled night as we raise  money to help Joe's family with medical expenses. Suggested donation of $25 includes: music, beer, wine, soda, water and snacks. Also available for an additional donation: BBQ pork chop sandwiches & sides The Harwood Brother's Band commemorative t-shirts To donate items for the silent auction, please email, theharwoodbrothersband@gmail.com Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever  Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever: Trap Shoots Every Monday in June!  The dates are June 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th at the Chillicothe Sportsman's Club. Times will be 6:00pm-7:00pm and 7:00pm -8:00pm PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL THE TIME YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHOOT. Pheasants Forever will supply 2 boxes of shells  (20 or 12 gauge) each night to shoot.   You will be asked to pay for your clay birds.   $3.00 for each box of shells you shoot. Hunter Safety Class:  We will also be having the HUNTER SAFETY class  at St. Mary of the Woods in Princeville on July 28th and 29th.   This is a 10 hour class.  It goes from 5:00pm-10:00pm both nights.   You must be there both nights.   We will be serving hot sandwiches, chips, drinks, etc.   Parents are welcome to take the class along with their child.   We would like kids to be 10 years old by December 31, 2016.   THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THE CLASS. Mark Your Calendars!  There will be a fall trap shoot at Gilles Farm at a later date, along with a  fall Youth Pheasant Hunt.  That's to be held the Saturday and Sunday  after Thanksgiving Day.   For more information or to sign up for either event  please contact Mike or Ted. Akron-Princeville Ambulance is in need of drivers! Have you ever thought about volunteering for your community?  Do you work or live in Princeville? Akron-Princeville Ambulance is taking applications for daytime  and nighttime volunteer drivers.  Applicants must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.   EMT license not required.  Training will be provided.   If you are interested, please call (309)256-5765 for an application and further information.  Thank you in advance! We can not provide top notch service without people to respond. Although we have an immediate need for daytime volunteers, all applications will be considered.
