Dear Residents,

After careful review of the Governor's executive orders and the Restore Illinois Plan, the Princeville Civic Association has cancelled Heritage Days on June 25-27, 2020. We are currently investigating whether we can host a similar community event later this year. This has been an extraordinarily difficult decision. Our volunteers have spent a year planning this community event and we are all disappointed that it cannot take place. We would like to encourage community members to continue to support our local businesses and organizations.

If you would like to become a member of PCA, please attend a meeting. Additional information will be posted at https://www.facebook.com/princevillecivicassociation/ .

The Princeville Civic Association was organized to promote community and economic development in Princeville. The PCA sponsors local events like Heritage Days, Holiday Homecoming and the Halloween cookout. We also provide scholarships to graduating senior and encourage community volunteerism.

Dear Residents,

The Princeville Aquatic Center will remain closed through the 2020 season due to Covid-19. The Village had delayed pool preparations due to the stay-at-home order. The combination of uncertainty over restrictions on summer activities and the health and safety of our community have contributed to the Village's announcement.

Please know we will honor any passes purchased or punches left over from the prior year, next year.

This decision was not taken lightly and we share the deep disappointment you feel.

We hope everyone is staying safe and well and we appreciate how our community continues to support one another as we navigate this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Princeville Village Board of Trustees
