The next PCA (Princeville Civic Association) event is Holiday Homecoming on Saturday, Dec. 6th from 9am-1pm.  Make sure you save the date.  The Holiday Homecoming will feature local businesses with holiday sales and some will have giveaways.
The vendor fair at the firehouse will feature local crafters and vendors.   

During the holiday season as you shop for gifts, keep in mind your local businesses.  Many have gift certificates available.

Finch Stowell Volunteer of the Year Award 
STILL ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS! 
Finch Stowell Volunteer of the Year Award
Finch Stowell exemplified volunteerism.  
He was the first President of both the PCA and Historical Association of Princeville.  
The annual winner of the award will be announced each December.  The Volunteer of the Year will then serve as the 
Grand Marshall of the Heritage Days Parade in June 2015.

Kids Holiday Workshop from 9am to noon at the LME Library. Make the Library your first stop! Your children will have the opportunity to make some gifts and wrap them while you shop locally at Princeville's Holiday Homecoming.  (Children must be old enough for indirect supervision.)

Santa and Mrs. Claus at the APFD Firehouse from 9am-11am. 
(Bring your camera)   

Vendor Fair at the APFD Firehouse ~ Stop by and shop from some of our local crafters and vendors.

Seneca Foods Pumpkin Baking Contest There are 3 categories: pumpkin pie, desserts, and other pumpkin foods.  And there are 2 age groups:  Junior (12 & under) and adult.   
Stop by Village Hall for an entry form and canned pumpkin.  Judging is Friday, Dec. 5.  Only one category per person.

Have you ever thought about being a volunteer firefighter? Do you live and or work in Princeville? Now would be the time that you turn that thought of volunteering into a reality. The Akron-Princeville Fire Dept is accepting applications for volunteers. We can not provide top notch service without people to respond. Although we have an immediate need for daytime volunteers, all applications will be considered. Please go to apfd.com or contact any APFD member for an application or if you have questions.
