It includes Village Board agendas, postings of Village Board Committee meetings, and a community calendar. Coming up in January: 
Princess Party, a fundraiser for the Princeville Heritage Museum on
Saturday, January 21 at 1pm at the museum.  
Tea party, photo, frame craft and princess fun for all! Each princess will receive a wand and tiara to take home.  Tickets are $20 per princess, ticket price includes one adult admission.  Tickets available at the museum beginning December 5th.  The Princess Party is for ages 4 and up.

 The Wish Tree is located at Village Hall.

This "tree" will have children's names (by number only) on it that could use some help with a Christmas gift this holiday season.  
Please come by and pick off an ornament and help someone in our community to have a brighter Christmas.  
Also, you can come to the Village Hall (drop box in door) and 
register your child's name to be placed on the Wish Tree.
Please use this opportunity to get your child (children) 
a Christmas gift.

Entries due at Village Hall Friday, December 2, by 3pm.  

Pick up your entry form and can of pumpkin at Village Hall during 
regular business hours, M-F, 8am-5pm (closed Noon-1pm)
**Canned pumpkin must be used that is provided with the entry form.

3 Categories:  Pumpkin Pie, Desserts & Other
2 Age Groups:  Adult & Junior (12 & under)

Prizes:  
1st in each category - $50
2nd in each category - $25
Entries judged on taste and presentation. 
Only one category per person.  Recipe must be included with entry.

Contest entries will be on display at Village Hall 
during Holiday Homecoming 
from 8-11am on Saturday, December 3rd.

(And if you include your address, one of Santa's helpers will respond)

You can chase away the cold by sampling treats and by visiting the Fiber Arts Show. Nonperishable food items are being collected as part of the Food-4-Fines, donations go to the local food pantry.  
The Friends will also be holding their annual raffle, 
so be sure to stop by!

Akron-Princeville Ambulance is in need of drivers!
Have you ever thought about volunteering for your community?  Do you work or live in Princeville?
Akron-Princeville Ambulance is taking applications for daytime 
and nighttime volunteer drivers.  Applicants must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.  
EMT license not required.  Training will be provided.

Have you ever thought about being a volunteer firefighter? Do you live and or work in Princeville? Now would be the time that you turn that thought of volunteering into a reality. The Akron-Princeville Fire Dept is accepting applications for volunteers. We can not provide top notch service without people to respond. Although we have an immediate need for daytime volunteers, all applications will be considered. Please go to apfd.com or

The street sweeper will run on Mondays, Wednesday & Fridays each week during fall to help with the clean up of leaves in the village.  If you have leaves in your yard, you may rake them into the street and the street sweeper will clean them up on those days.  

All burning ordinances still apply.

Pheasants Forever will provide each youth 2 pheasants to be hunted on these days.  Each group will take 5 kids with their parent or guardian to the field to hunt their birds.  Kids 10 years old through high school can attend the hunt.  They MUST have taken the hunter safety class and passed.  

The Gilles farm is located on Maher Road, north off route 90.
