Winter
Parking Ban
|
Winter
Parking Ban:
The Village of Princeville would like
to remind residents to move vehicles off of the street if two or more
inches of snow are forecast. It shall be unlawful to allow any vehicle
or trailer to remain on any street or alley in the village in such a
manner as to interfere with snow removal operations, when the
accumulation is forecasted to be two or more inches in depth. Any car
parked on the streets will be towed at the owner's expense.
If you need a place to park a car, you can park in the empty lot, at
the corner of Spring St. & Santa Fe Ave. (The empty lot that is
west across from Country Feed and Supplies)

Cleaning up after the holidays?
Wondering
where to donate all the items you are ready to part with?
The
museum takes donations year round for our annual rummage sale.
(May
13 & 14, 2016)
And,
just like Goodwill and Salvation Army, we give you a receipt for
a
tax
deduction. But, you don't have to drive it to Peoria.
We
take donations Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
from
10 am to 2 pm. Not convenient for you on the weekdays?
or
call 385-1916. We take housewares, furniture, clothing, toys, tools,
holiday decorations, books, DVDs, appliances and most other
items.
All
proceeds from the rummage sale support the museum
in
collecting and maintaining the history of Princeville.
Like us on
Facebook, we love to post photos from Princeville's past and also to
keep yourself up to date on museum events.
