Troutman's Trek 2 Memphis
On June 19, 2016, 85-year-old Dean Troutman set off on a 500 mile quest to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Last year, Dean Troutman walked 700 miles around Illinois to raise money for Troutman Park which was established in memory of his late wife, Dorothy (Peggy) Troutman. Through the support of the communities and people on his route, Dean successfully raised money to install and
complete a playground at the park.
Now Dean is another year older, but he wants to continue to help children in need. Mr. Troutman is a generous man with a big heart and he sees this walk as an extension of the quest to honor his wife.
Dean's Troutman Trek 2 Memphis goal is to raise money to benefit
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and help children with cancer.

On June 19th, eighty-five year old Dean Troutman set off on a 500 mile quest. He plans to complete Troutman's Trek 2 Memphis in approximately 60 days. Hoping to walk about 9 miles a day, he plans to include among his many stops the location where he and his wife met and were married.
