By shopping locally you are also generating sales tax revenue, boosting local employment, and paving the way for new business to open in Princeville.

What can you gain by having a good coat of wax on your car?

1. Shine - We all know this one.  Wax is the easy way to get a glossy look on your vehicle.  There are some great options out there from carnauba to synthetic sealants.  Each will provide depth and clarity to your automobiles finish.
2.       Protection From Contaminants In The Air - if you don't protect your paint, then there is risk.  Bugs, rain, tree sap and other corrosive materials can etch into your paint.  Left untreated, the damage can be severe enough that only repainting can fix.  A layer of wax will form a protective barrier between the paint and the outside world so they bond to the wax and not the paint.
3.       It Washes Easier - a good coat of wax makes it easier to wash your vehicle.  When bugs, sap and other contaminants fall onto the automobile, the wax will prevent them from contacting the paint.  It won't take as much elbow grease to remove those pesky bugs from the front bumper either.
4.       Prevent Paint Chips - Little paint chips occur while driving and rocks jump up and hit your paint.  Waxing or sealing the paint smooths the surface and will reduce friction between debris and your automobile, meaning that this tiny debris is more likely to slide off the vehicle rather than damage it.
5.       Fills In Scratches - Make no mistake, wax will NOT remove scratches, but it can fill some of them in.  Shallow scratches are often filled by wax and they become less apparent, or not noticeable at all.  Filling in scratches might be preferred as an alternative to removing them because it doesn't require the removal of any clear coat.
