Notice of Public Informational Meeting!
PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING NOTICE!
Dear Citizens and Property Owners of,
DUNLAP, PRINCEVILLE, MONICA, LAURA,
& WILLIAMSFIELD areas.

Ameren Transmission Company of Illinois ("ATXI") has filed a petition with the Illinois Commerce Commission to build a roughly 40 mile long, 345,000 volt electric transmission line from Peoria to Galesburg.
ATXI has selected two routes:  route "A" which would use the
Interstate 74 corridor, or route "B" which would pass near the communities listed above.

A local group has been formed known as
"CITIZENS AGAINST ROUTE B" to pool our resources to stop or redirect this project from coming through or near our communities,
farms, and homes.  An informational meeting is planned for:
January 22, 6:30pm
at Princeville Heritage Museum
325 N Ostrom Ave., Princeville, Illinois

TIME IS SHORT
Please plan to attend, as we need YOUR input to make this happen.  It is critical tht we indicate to ICC that we oppose Route B for this large transmission line being placed near our communities, homes, and farms.

Volunteer of the Year Nominations!
In Princeville there are many volunteers that help with everything from town and school events to helping their neighbors and community when it is needed.

Do you know someone that gives of their time and energies to help our community?  The PCA is asking you to take the time to nominate that person for the Finch Stowell Volunteer of the Year Award. The annual winner of the award will be asked to serve as the
Grand Marshall of the Princeville Heritage Days Parade in June.

Forms are available at Village Hall, or you can find them on the Village website:
